Save this hike for your bucket list: Reinebrigen ????️????????

Reinebringen is the most iconic hike in the Lofoten Islands, Norway and for good reason! Can you believe we did this hike at 12 am? Hiking under the midnight sun is so incredible to experience. On our way back to our hotel at 2 am, we even saw wild orcas in the water!!!

Here’s what you need to know:

- a steep but short climb up nearly 2000 stone “sherpa steps”. The stone steps minimize the impact to the environment and make the incline easier!
- large paid parking lot in Reine or park at the national park visitor center
- extremely popular! go early or late in the day to avoid crowds
- unreal panoramic view over the fjords and fishing villages below
- it gets cold and windy at the top even during the summer. Bring layers and wear merino wool (we are wearing @zorali and @smartwool)
- be sure to stay on trail and pack out all of your trash
