Episode 6 | We reached Nordkapp ! (North Cape)
When I started this series, I couldn't have imagined finishing our Norway adventure in clear blue skies. In this episode we reach the most Northerly point of mainland Europe by car and explore another pretty little fishing village at what feels like the edge of the Earth.

We have dinner in a travellers rest hut by an open fire. I join the crew of @BirdSafariAS Gjesvær, for a boat tour around the archipelago Gjesværstappan, and finally get to photograph the magnificent white tailed sea eagles swooping around the islands, puffins rafting on the sea amongst common guillemots and razorbills, harbour seals, Fulmars, cormorants, kittiwakes and gannets!

After a hot hike over the cliff tops we call in at Stappen Sea products for a seafood dinner owned by a local fisherman on the coast front. This little restaurant on stilts was a hidden gem.

As I finish the day filming the geese by our camping spot for the night, watching a couple take a walk in the midnight sun (1am!) I reflect on the perfect day spent in the arctic North and wonder if I will have any reindeer encounters in the morning.
