Drone footage from the first two days on the Lofoten Islands — October 1 and 2, 2025 — flying the chain of fishing villages on Moskenesøya along the E10.
This is the stretch most people picture when they think of Lofoten: red and yellow rorbuer on stilts, narrow bridges, and peaks rising straight out of the water.
Places in this video:
Hamnøy (Hamnøya) — the red rorbuer on the rocky point, including Eliassen Rorbuer, the Hamnøy village harbor, and Hamnøybrua / Breisundet bru
Reine — the larger village under Olstinden, with Reinefjorden opening behind it and Reinebringen on the wall of peaks above
Sørvågen — past Reine by the Moskenes ferry
Shot on location in early October, shoulder season — autumn color on the hills, low sun, and weather that can go from clear to mist in a few minutes.
