My solo motorcycle trip from Lithuania to the northernmost point of Europe accessible by public roads – Nordkapp. And from Nordkapp down south through the whole of Norway. I traveled at the end of June – beginning of July. I was accompanied by rain and wind all the way – the weather was not the most pleasant. But that is part of the trip.

In this episode: From the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, where I live, I turned towards the Latvian port of Ventspils and from there I took a ferry to the Swedish port of Nynäshamn, located about 60 km south of the capital Stockholm. From the ferry I turned straight north and the next day I reached the monument marking the Arctic Circle. But before that, at a small gas station in northern Sweden, I saw what is considered a completely Swedish phenomenon – a vintage Raggare-style car.

On the third day of the trip, I crossed the Norwegian border and from then on my real journey began. But that is for other episodes.
