Omar Di Felice is an italian ultracyclist and explorer from Rome. A former professional road cyclist, the 41-year-old transitioned to expedition cycling early in his career and has not looked back. In 2014 he rode to North Cape in Norway, near the northernmost tip of continental Europe, during winter; he has also ridden through Alaska, Canada and the Gobi Desert in Mongolia.

Today Omar is about to leave for Antarctica, for his most extreme and difficult mission – the one he has dreamed about his whole life. 1600km through the South Pole’s harsh lands. Solo and unsupported. From Hercules Inlet towards Leverett Glacier. This is “Antarctica Unlimited”, a physical challenge, attempting to make the first crossing of Antarctica by bike, and a scientific and informative project, thought to raise awareness on the climate crisis.

Ferrino has been with Omar since the Gobi Desert expedition in 2020 and will be with him also for the Antacrtica Unlimited expedition.
