Northern Norway is one of the most stunning places we have EVER visited!!! ???????? If you have 7 days, stick to Lofoten. If you have a few extra, head up to Senja.

My biggest tip: pick 1 or 2 bases in Lofoten and take day trips depending on the weather. Don’t make your itinerary too rigid!

☀️ BEST TIME TO VISIT Summer is incredible. If you want the midnight sun, aim for roughly late May to mid-July. It is WILD!

????SVOLVÆR RIB boat eagle safari, fishing trip + Fløya hike.

????HENNINGSVÆR Tiny fishing village, famous football field + Festvågtinden. The football field is cool from the ground but I must admit... it looks WAY better from the drone ???? CAUTION: this hike is HARD!

????EGGUM • UNSTAD • OFFERSØYKAMMEN Midnight sun kayaking, the BEST cinnamon bun at Unstad Arctic Surf + my favourite effort vs reward hike.

????REINE • HAMNØY • Å Iconic fishing villages, fresh seafood, mountain views, a sauna at Reinefjorden + Reinebringen.

????FREDVANG • RYTEN • SKAGSANDEN Hike Ryten for the famous Kvalvika Beach view, then stop by Skagsanden and Lofoten Beach Camp for the beach, restaurant/bar + sauna.

????NUSFJORD • VIKING MUSEUM Great for a wetter day. Explore historic Nusfjord + visit the Lofotr Viking Museum.

????SENJA
If you have extra time, ADD SENJA! We hiked Hesten for that famous view of Segla.

IMPORTANT: if you hike Segla itself, you won’t get the famous view OF Segla!
