About this book:
Around the World in Eighty Days is a classic 1870s adventure novel by Jules Verne, first published in 1873. This is the complete and unabridged full cast audiobook.

Plot summary (no spoilers):
Phileas Fogg, an exact and silent London gentleman in 1872, wagers £20,000 at the Reform Club that he can travel around the world in eighty days. The claim rests on a simple idea: steamships and new railways have made the globe smaller than anyone admits. Fogg sets out that same evening from Saville Row with a carpetbag, a strict timetable and Passepartout, a French valet who was once an acrobat and a fireman, and who only wanted a quiet position. Their route carries them from Suez to Bombay, across India, and onward to Hong Kong, Yokohama and San Francisco. Each stage hands them fresh trouble, from missed connections to hostile terrain, and every lost hour is one they cannot recover. Meanwhile a detective named Fix has seen a description of a bank robber and decides that the unruffled traveller matches it. He begins to follow them across continents. The book asks whether one man's discipline can hold against the whole unpredictable world.
