We had no idea what to expect when our Celebrity Apex cruise docked in Honningsvåg, Norway — but this stop completely surprised us! Honningsvåg is one of the northernmost towns in the world, a charming fishing village surrounded by stunning Arctic landscapes. We decided to just walk off the ship and explore on our own, and it turned into the best hike of our entire trip. The views from the top were unbelievable, and on the way down, we even saw a herd of wild reindeer! Everything about this day was completely free and absolutely magical — proof that sometimes the best adventures are the ones you don’t plan.
