As we head off into the high arctic, this is the first leg of our trip to Svalbard.
We leave Ardrossan in Scotland and make our way up the west coast before the 500-nautical mile crossing of the North Sea. Arriving at Alesund in Norway with a fantastic sunrise to greet us.
