THE PRIVATE LIFE OF PEG LYNCH is a 12-part podcast. It’s the story of a small-town girl of remarkable precocity who went on to write, star and own her very own sitcom on radio and TV. It’s a story of two mediums, of marriage, of motherhood and how this brainy, funny lady became one of America’s favourite writers and comedians and how it all crashed to an end after 10,000 scripts. It's told through her daughter's voice (that would be me, Astrid King) with Peg herself chiming in here and there from archival interviews. Music by Denis King and the occasional remark from James Lileks.
