Showdown in Downtown Detroit! Brian meets up with Brad, a subscriber to this YouTube channel, to play Larry Harris’s 1942 variation of the Global 1940. These are tournament rules meant to allow the game to be finished in a day. The starting setup approximates what a Global 1940 game would look like after about 6 turns. We also used Brad’s tweaks to this scenario that makes it feel even more like a 1940 ruleset.
This is Brian’s first time playing under these rules—how do you think his Axis forces did?

This is also our first play on Renegade’s new giant neoprene mat for Global 1940 that’s 20% bigger than the original.
