Atventurist Adventure series presents: Going to North Cape 2022.

Me and my cousin, we bought Honda CB500X model 2020 at summer 2020. Since then, we had a dream to drive up north, the northernmost point of continental Europe. It´s in Norway. Then COVID19 happened and we had a plan, that if we can´t go to Norway, we will at least drive to beautiful Lapland of Finland.

DAY 6

Woke up at Hetta Holiday Village (Hetan lomakylä), in the village of Hetta, Enontekiö. We drove (road 956) to east and after lake Ounasjärvi to south (road 567). Beautiful scenery, like Pallastunturi and lake Pallasjärvi.

After Jerisjärvi we drove the road 79 towards Sirkka and Levi, but we turned to the west and drove unpaved road somewhere in the wilderness of Lapland.

Then lunch at the village of Äkäslompolo. After that we drove (road 79) towards the the city of Rovaniemi (largest city in Lapland) and after a very short break the road 78 lead us via Ranua and Pudasjärvi to the city of Puolanka.

Puolanka camping area, there we slept next night in a fine cabin with sauna. This place was just a 50 km (30 ml) to northwest from the city of Hyrynsalmi, where we slept the first night.

This 6th day was about 600 km (375 ml), from 8.00 am to 9.30 pm.
