2021 has been a special year, After almost a year and half of partial lockdown.. we could travel again... However, we decided to stay in Norway and go further north for Summer holidays. We will travel to best places in Lofoten. The Lofoten Islands are characterised by their mountains and peaks, sheltered inlets, stretches of seashore and large virgin areas which made up for an incredible road trip. This video features fishing villages Hamnøy and Å in Moskenes municipality (southern Lofoten).

Hamnøy is the oldest fishing village, it is considered to be one of the most picturesque villages in Lofoten. It is also a popular tourist destination due to its scenic and unspoilt nature.

Å: is the village at the end of the road in Lofoten. It probably has the shortest name for a place. It has steep mountains, the wild atlantic and picturesque old houses that makes an ensemble that could be nowhere else. A really makes you feel you've reached the end.
If you take a ferry from Bodø, Å is one of the ports you can come to.
Å has an old age charm with the old houses converted to a museum.
