Our motorbike roadtrip to North cape was saddend when we came across aterrible accident involving two motorbikers. the road was blocked by a large norwiegien rescue helicopter for around 20 mins as the two bikers were attended too before being flown off to hospital. Seeing such a crash makes you think about your own safety while riding, we slowed the pace for much of the day and were thinking of the two people most of the day. We did get to see the Nordkap in beautiful weather, apparently a rare occasion so far north on the terrestial globe that we all live on. tunnels were on the route and some were quite dark inside, one in particular, just under 7 km long has a steep entry and exit. care is needed as you could come across the odd deer from time to time taking a short cut!
