Days 5-8

Friday: Trondheim
We take "The Trondheim Heritage Trail" excursion. Highlights include the Nidaros Cathedral, Sverresborg Trondelag Folk Museum and a view of our ship and Trondheim from an overlook.

Saturday: Sea Day and rough seas

Sunday: Hammerfest
We take a short walk through the town but mostly remain on the ship.

Monday: Honningsvag and North Cape
We take the "Stappen Island Bird Safari" excursion. After a bus ride through some beautiful higher elevation country we arrive at a small sea town and board our "boat" for the tour. We enjoyed the tour but the choice of boat seemed odd. It certainly was not designed as a tourist boat. It seemed like a boat that spends half the year fishing and the other half doing tours.

But we thoroughly enjoyed being so far north of the Arctic Circle. A bucket list item checked off.
