Episode 12 of a road trip from the city of Pezinok (Slovakia) to Nordkapp (Norway) and back to the city of Bratislava – a total of 7,375 km across Europe.

This part starts exactly where Episode 11 ended – at a roadside rest area with a beautiful view over the Porsangerfjorden.

From there, the journey continues north along the E6 route, later joining the E69 road towards Nordkapp.

The whole route follows the area around Porsangerfjorden, with the landscape changing dramatically from taiga into tundra.

Trees and greenery slowly disappear, replaced by bare rocks, open sea, and the harsh far northern scenery.

Through a tunnel, we cross onto the island of Magerøya.

Although the E69 road leads directly to Nordkapp, we first explore more of the island.

We take several side roads, including the road towards Honningsvåg Airport, the end of the road beyond the village of Kamøyvær, and the roads to Gjesvær and Skarsvåg.

From Skarsvåg, we continue directly to Nordkapp, where this stage of the journey ends.
