Not every expedition goes to plan — and that’s where the real journey begins.

When our train from Oslo to Bergen was cancelled, the Arctic Quest team adapted quickly, jumping onto a coach and carrying on north. What followed was an unexpected highlight — a stunning journey through Norway’s national park landscapes, with deep snow stretching metres high and views that didn’t disappoint.

From winding mountain roads to incredible underground roundabouts carved into the hillsides, this was a reminder that challenges often lead to new experiences.

Resilient, determined, and still on track — next stop, boarding the MS Nordkapp.
