This episode is a bit different — we step away from the workshop to look at the preparations for an incredible world record attempt.

Dave joins aerial photographer John Balsdon (Always Look Twice) and the wider team as they prepare for the longest North-to-South drive in the world — from Nordkapp, Norway to Cape Town, South Africa.

Dave’s role? Bush mechanic, supporting the team across one of the most demanding overland journeys imaginable.

We also meet Toby from Bruder Trailers (Australia), another key member of the expedition, and take a closer look at the vehicles that will take on this challenge:
• Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster
• Ineos Grenadier Station Wagon

In this video, we cover:
• The goal of the world record attempt
• Each team member’s role and responsibilities
• The equipment and modifications going into the vehicles
• What it takes to prepare for a multi-continent expedition of this scale

This is just the beginning of the journey.
