This is a long one for me, so I’ve added chapters ????

0:00 - Introduction
2:48 - Fredvang, Ryten & Wildcamp
18:54 - Reine
22:15 - Kjerkfjord, A & Sorvagen
30:26 - Hike to Munkebu Hut & Midnight Sun Wildcamp
48:16 - Homeward Bound

I had a short but sweet time on the Islands, focusing on the southern region of Moskenes where the ferry from Bodo delivered me to the pier in the early hours.

First night was at Moskenes camping before getting the bus to Fredvang and the bridges.

After surviving the sketcy bridges, I set off for Ryten. Boy was it windy!

After reaching the summit and briefly taking in the views, I dropped down to find shelter on the leaward side of the wind behind a huge crag. Perfect!

Then it was off to Reine for the day, I considered doing Reinebringen, but the hoardes of people kind of put me off....so I didn't! Maybe should have gone at midnight?!?!

After a meander around town, I was up early for a short cruise around Kjerkfjord and then it was on the bus again for a short ride to Å where I had planned to camp. Fail!

Change of plan and I got myself a really cool place to stay for the price of a decent meal and a couple of pints ( this is Norway ????)

Finally I set off for the place I’d been really looking forward to and it really didn’t disappoint.

Munkebu hut below the summit of Munken. Best camping location ever and I was so fortunate to see the midnight sun appearing between a gap in the mountains for a fleeting moment.

Norway never fails to deliver, different level ????

Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching .... DAB
