Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's ten day forecast video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days. Day ten will take us to the third of December - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) We'll have a look at the CFS V2 for the next four weeks which gets us into the second half of December.

A cold front is moving southwards introducing colder air from the north today. The next couple of days will be dry and cold with overnight frost. Later in the weekend and through next week the weather turns wet. Looking ahead to the rest of next week, rain clears away to the south and we open the doors to cold easterly winds. As low pressure comes up against the Scandinavian High and the block of cold air towards the end of next week we could see an increasing risk of rain and snow. A cold and wintry start to December, perhaps?
