The year is 1871. The American Wild West is in full swing. Rural parts of the country remain almost entirely lawless, and, deep in the unforgiving heart of the Southeast Kansas Prairie, a lone traveller slowly guides his horse through a sea of eight-foot tallgrass as he makes his way towards a remote wooden cabin…

For the traveller, the cabin was the first thing he had seen in days - and he and his horse could finally switch off and take some well-earned rest. He had made his way along the Great Osage Trail - covering hundreds of miles where hundreds of men had vanished before him…

During his travels, he saw no sign of outlaws, horse-thieves or highwaymen and, instead, was greeted by a charming frontier family and the offer of a warm, home-cooked meal…

THIS was The Bender Family - and that warm, home-cooked meal that he was promised would very quickly become his last…

The traveller and his horse were never seen again - and he was far from their last victim… Welcome to The Devil’s Inn: this is the terrifying true story of The Bloody Benders…
