Overlooking the fishing village of Reine in the Lofoten Islands of Norway, this very popular trail to the top of Reinebringen is a steep climb of 2,000 stone steps! Without a doubt, this is the most visited trail in Reine and all of Lofoten. Once past the steps and summit of Reinebringen, the route continues on much more challenging terrain to higher summits with fabulous views in all directions! The "beyond" of Reinebringen offered us a very wonderful mountain experience of solitude and rewarded us with incredible views in all directions. This was a fun outing on a beautiful day and thus, we couldn't get enough of the "beyond" section of Reinebringen!!
