On September 3, 2026, we completed one of Norway's most iconic and breathtaking hikes: Trolltunga! A challenging 20-kilometer adventure through the spectacular Norwegian mountains, leading to one of the country's most famous viewpoints.

Located near Odda and Tyssedal in southwestern Norway, Trolltunga (meaning "Troll's Tongue") is a spectacular rock formation extending horizontally from a mountain, approximately 700 meters above the beautiful Ringedalsvatnet lake.

Our adventure started at P3 Mågelitopp, the highest official starting point of the Trolltunga hike. From here, we followed a challenging 20-kilometer round-trip trail through the stunning Norwegian mountain landscape.

Along the way, we experienced panoramic views, rugged mountain terrain, rocky trails, beautiful mountain lakes, and endless stretches of Norwegian wilderness.

At approximately 1,180 meters above sea level, Trolltunga offers one of Norway's most spectacular viewpoints. Standing on this famous rock formation, high above Ringedalsvatnet, was an unforgettable experience and made the challenging hike absolutely worth it!
