We visited the ancient and beautiful city of Stavanger, Norway. We enjoyed its artistic shops, bars, the Øvre Holmegate or street of colors, the famous Sverd I Fjell or theSwords in Rock sculpture - a magnificent piece of art erected by sculptor Fritz Røed on the shores of Møllebukta Bay marking the spot where King Harald Fairhair landed with his troops in AD872 for the Battle of Hafrsfjord, which he won, and in doing so unified the three kingdoms of Norway under one crown.
