I've watched many YouTube videos of motor bikers traveling to Nordkapp, especially through Norway, which seem to keep, it is my assumptions, all rainy, bad-weather takes, out of the video. I even remember a guy planning his trip to Nordkapp, asking himself, on a video, if the weather in Norway, especially the northern part, in Summer time was supposed to be as nice as seen in many videos. Don't know, maybe suffering bad weather is not the usual thing in Norway in Summer time... I remember a conversation with a Norwegian rider I met along my trip saying not to remember a weather that bad in Summer time in Norway.

Truth is that I experience a few awful days, and some bikers going to Nordkapp I ran into on my way south saying they were going north with rainy days since they got to the south of Norway... Riding the bike with this bad weather is frustrating and test any rider's endurance. Some riders might decide to stop in a cozy place till let out. But many others, I tell you, I ran into them, probably say: this is what I came here for, I'll take all that Norway gives me on my way to and down from Nordkapp.

So, if you're a motor biker planning your trip and see this video, be ready for cold, rain, strong winds, and even hail in Summer in Norway. Just put the rain suit on and take it easy, brothers and sisters. This is a recording of an awful day riding through the Lofoten Islands.
