The Lofoten Islands are one of the most stunning areas of Norway. This is where majestic mountains meet brilliantly white sandy beaches, fishing villages dot the coastlines, and hiking trails criss-cross their way through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Europe. The islands of the archipelago are laced with epic hiking trails. Most are short trails and many feature a hefty climb up to a viewpoint, since these islands are mountainous.
