Hello & welcome to my first ever yt vid! Back in August, I set off on a solo mission to the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway. If there’s one thing about me, I love a side quest.

On this trip, I flew from Oslo to Bodø, on the mainland coast of Nordland county. From there, I picked up a rental car and caught the ferry to Reine, then drove to my Airbnb in Å — which became my home base for the first five days. Each day I set out to explore different hiking trails around the islands.

On my fifth day, I drove two hours to Henningsvær, a small fishing village where I stayed two nights at Trevarefabrikken. My time there was pure bliss: saunas, vino, and soaking in incredible views. Check out was tough.

Saying goodbye to this incredible part of the world was even harder.

Truly a life changing trip :)
