Honningsvåg is the gateway to the North Cape and was on my Bucket List of things to be done: a photograph of me at North Cape to mirror a photograph of me when I visited in 1982. Mission accomplished!
Alta was the next stop, where we went to see the Northern Lights Cathedral, with a shape that seems, to me, to be inspired by the Northern Lights. The town also has a ski jump which can be seen from the ship as it leaves. I think that the jump is no longer in use.
