In the summer of 2020 we would fulfill a dream of driving all the way to the Nordkapp by motorbike.
Day 19: Last day.
Today's route goes from Sogndal to Songesand in the Lysefjorden, where we drive some of Norway's most famous mountain roads. This route combines high mountains, winding valleys and fjords, with postcard views along the entire route.

Aurlandsfjellet, also called the "Snøveien", a national tourist route with fantastic mountain scenery and viewpoints such as Stegastein, where we get a panoramic view of the Aurlandsfjord. The trip then continues south towards Røldal, where we take the "old narrow road over Røldalsfjellet", one of Norway's most spectacular mountain passes, an absolute favourite.

From Røldal we follow fv 520 to Sauda, ​​one of Norway's most beautiful mountain roads with narrow roads, wild landscape, steep cliffs and idyllic mountain lakes. After Sauda, ​​the road continues towards Årdal, where we drive the idyllic mountain road down to Songesand by the Lysefjorden – a hidden paradise surrounded by mighty mountains.

This route offers varied nature experiences from the seat of a motorbike and has a good combination of mountains and fjords. It is recommended to spend plenty of time on these roads to enjoy the scenery.
